John Harbal

FORMER CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, Impact Products, LLC


John Harbal was Chairman of Impact Products, a manufacturer and supplier to the janitorial and sanitary supply industry, where he served as CEO for 13 years.  In 2003, John was the finalist for Ernst & Young’s Northwest Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year competition.  In 2008, he was the recipient of the Entrepreneurial Business Excellence award for the Davenport-Longenecker Lifetime Achievement Award for Business Advocacy.

Mr. Harbal served as a 2-term elected member of the Genoa Board of Education, and was its President for 3 years.  Mr. Harbal has served on the Elder Board of 3 different churches, has taught adult Sunday school classes for over 20 years, and was one of the founders of a church in Brownsburg, Indiana.  Mr. Harbal has served on the Board of Trustees of Bowling Green University, is a member of the Business Advisory Council of the College of Business, and is a member of the President’s Club and Falcon Club. Mr. Harbal graduated from the College of Business Administration of Bowling Green State University in 1972.
